Prayer of 'Abdu'l-Bahá
O my God! O my God! Verily I invoke Thee and supplicate before Thy threshold, asking Thee that all Thy mercies may descend upon these souls. Specialize them for Thy favor and Thy truth, O Lord! unite and bind together the hearts, join in accord all the souls and exhilarate the spirit through the signs of Thy sanctity and oneness. O Lord! suffer these faces to become radiant through the light of Thy oneness. Strengthen the loins of Thy servants in the service of Thy Kingdom, O Lord! Thou Possessor of great mercy! O Lord of forgiveness and pardon! forgive our sins, suffer us to be pardoned for our shortcomings and cause us to turn to the Kingdom of Thy clemency, invoking the Kingdom of Might and Power, humble at Thy shrine and submissive at the appearance of Thy evidences. O Lord God! make us as waves of the sea, as flowers of the garden, united, agreed, fresh and verdant through the bounties of Thy love. O Lord! dilate the breasts through the signs of Thy oneness and make all humanity as waves as luscious fruits borne upon Thy Tree of Life. Verily Thou art the Almighty, the Self-subsistent, the Giver, the Forgiving, the Pardoner, the Omniscient, the One Creator!

ReplyDeleteThis beautiful prayer is an example of the fulfillment of the Lord's Prayer found in the New Testament. Bahá'u'lláh revealed the Kingdom of God which is to reflect the light of the heavenly Kingdom. Abdu'l-Bahá and Shoghi Effendi sacrificed their lives to establish the Kingdom. The assistants of the First Guardian of the Bahá'í Faith, known as the Hands, destroyed the progress of the Kingdom of God on earth when they failed to turn to the Second Guardian, Charles Mason Remey, Shoghi Effendi's appointed successor based on the Law of the Will and Testament. The Hands had no right to make themselves executives and administrators. The Hands violated the Covenant and led the Bahá'í Faith into the condition of violation in which we now find it. The Hands inverted the truth when they declared Charles Mason Remey a Covenant-breaker. The Hands and everyone who rejects the continuation of the Institution of the Guardianship are Covenant-breakers.
Study the Will and Testament of 'Abdu'l-Bahá which Shoghi Effendi described as one of the charter documents for the Kingdom of God on earth. Only the Guardian has the right to declare someone a Covenant-breaker. Study the theme of the New Testament: the Gentiles are the guaranteed heirs of the Kingdom. Study Genesis 49:10 where the prophecy of the scepter leaving the tribe of Judah is to be found. The enemies from within the Faith have done an excellent job of confusing the minds of the followers who fail to obey the command to think for themselves while studying the Sacred Text. Bahá'ís do not understand that Bahá'u'lláh reestablished the throne of David according to the prophecies in Psalms, Isaiah, and the New Testament. The world does not understand that Bahá'u'lláh was of the tribe of Judah, that the exiled Davidic Kings converted to Islam in 817 A.D., and that the idea of a royal bloodline for the spiritual Kingdom of God is prophesied to become a thing of the past. One cannot help but pity those who have allowed themselves to be led into violation, but the warnings are everywhere as are the signs of God's clearly intended Plan for the Kingdom of God on earth which is the living gift of Bahá'u'lláh to the world.
